Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through breakermats.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order.
BreakerMats is a trading brand of LEVEL THIRTY3 Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15462512. Our registered office is 220 Torquay Road, Paignton, Devon, England, TQ3 2HN.
In these terms, “BreakerMats”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to LEVEL THIRTY3 Limited. “You” and “your” refer to the person or business placing the order.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any legal rights available to consumers that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
1. Contact details
Email: cardbreakermats@gmail.com
Registered office: 220 Torquay Road, Paignton, Devon, England, TQ3 2HN.
2. Who may place an order
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order through our website.
If you place an order on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or organisation.
3. Products and services
We sell standard and personalised desk mats, breaker mats and related products. We also offer custom artwork and logo-design services.
Product images and mock-ups are provided to help illustrate the design and product. While we take reasonable care to display colours accurately, screens display colours differently and a printed product may not be an exact colour match to its on-screen appearance.
Measurements, thicknesses, positioning, print coverage and stitched edges may be subject to small manufacturing tolerances. These tolerances do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, materially different from its description or not of satisfactory quality.
4. Placing an order and forming a contract
Please check your order, delivery information, spelling, uploaded artwork and product choices carefully before submitting it.
After you place an order, you will receive an electronic acknowledgement. A contract is formed when we send confirmation that we have accepted the order or begin providing the ordered service, whichever occurs first.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example:
-
the product is unavailable;
-
payment cannot be authorised;
-
the supplied artwork cannot reasonably be reproduced;
-
the order contains prohibited or potentially unlawful content;
-
the price or product information contains an obvious error; or
-
we cannot deliver to the supplied address.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or service.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. The total price, including any applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be shown before you complete checkout.
Payment may be processed through Shopify Payments, PayPal or another payment method displayed at checkout. Orders must be paid for in full unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as an error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.
6. Customer-supplied artwork and content
You retain ownership of artwork and other content you supply to us. You grant us a limited permission to store, copy, resize, crop, adjust, reproduce and print that content as reasonably necessary to prepare proofs, produce your order, provide customer support and fulfil our contract with you.
You confirm that:
-
you own the content or have permission from the relevant owner to use it for the ordered purpose;
-
our use of the content to fulfil your order will not infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy, publicity or other rights;
-
the content is not illegal, defamatory, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative or otherwise unlawful; and
-
the files and information you provide are accurate and do not contain malicious software.
We may refuse content that we reasonably believe could infringe another person’s rights, break the law, harm others or damage our reputation. Acceptance of an upload does not mean we have verified its ownership or legality.
You are responsible for obtaining any licences or permissions required for third-party logos, photographs, characters, trade marks, league or team branding, card artwork and other protected material supplied by you.
7. Artwork quality and print suitability
The quality of the finished print depends partly on the quality and proportions of the files supplied. Low-resolution, compressed, blurred or incorrectly proportioned artwork may not reproduce cleanly.
Where we identify an obvious issue, we may contact you for a replacement file or offer a design service. This may delay production. We are not responsible for defects already present in customer-supplied files where the finished product accurately reproduces the approved or supplied artwork.
We may make minor technical adjustments needed for production, including resizing, positioning, colour-profile conversion and extending backgrounds into bleed areas. We will not intentionally make material creative changes without your agreement.
8. Proofs and approval
Where a digital proof is provided, production will not normally begin until you approve it. You are responsible for checking names, wording, spelling, dates, colours, layout, logo choice, cropping and other visible details.
Once you approve a proof, that approval authorises us to manufacture the product using the approved artwork. We are not responsible for an error that was clearly visible in the approved proof and was reproduced accurately in the finished product.
This does not affect your rights where we manufacture the product incorrectly, depart materially from the approved proof, or supply goods that are faulty or not of satisfactory quality.
Changes requested after proof approval may be refused or may incur an additional charge if production has begun.
9. Personalised and custom-made products
A product is personalised or custom-made where it is manufactured to your specifications, incorporates artwork, wording or branding chosen or supplied by you, or is otherwise clearly made for you.
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right that normally applies to online purchases does not apply to goods made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
If you contact us before design or production begins, we may agree to cancel a personalised order as a gesture of goodwill. Any cancellation or refund in those circumstances is at our discretion and may be reduced by reasonable work or costs already incurred.
Personalised products remain protected by your statutory rights. Please contact us if they are faulty, not as described or do not match the approved proof.
10. Logo-design service
The logo-design service includes the concepts, revisions and file formats stated in the product description at the time of purchase.
Unless the listing states otherwise, we will create three initial creative directions. You choose one direction for further development. “Unlimited revisions” means reasonable revisions to that selected direction within the agreed brief while the project remains active. It does not include unlimited new concepts, repeated changes to the business name, or a completely new brief or creative direction.
Revisions may include reasonable changes to colours, typography, spacing, layout and design details. Substantial changes outside the original brief may require a separate quotation.
If you do not respond for 30 consecutive days after we request feedback, information or approval, we may treat the project as inactive. We may archive the project and may charge a reasonable fee if substantial work is required to reactivate it later.
AI-assisted tools may be used during brainstorming and early concept exploration. The selected design will be recreated, adjusted or professionally finished using design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. AI-assisted concept development does not guarantee that a design can be registered as a trade mark.
You are responsible for carrying out any trade mark, company-name, domain-name or other clearance searches needed for your intended use. Unless expressly agreed in writing, our service does not include legal clearance, trade mark registration or a guarantee that similar branding does not already exist.
Once the service has been paid for in full, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and adapt the final approved logo for your business and commercial purposes, to the extent that we own the relevant rights. Any third-party fonts, stock assets or other licensed elements remain subject to their own licence terms.
Rejected concepts, drafts and working files remain ours and may not be used, copied or developed without our written permission. Unless you ask us not to before completion, we may display the finished logo in our portfolio and promotional materials after it has been made public by you.
11. Starting a design service during the cancellation period
Consumers normally have 14 days from entering into an online service contract to cancel it.
If you ask us to begin the logo-design or other custom-design service during that 14-day period, you expressly request early performance of the service. If you then cancel after work has begun but before it is complete, we may deduct or charge a reasonable amount reflecting the work supplied up to cancellation.
If the service is completed within the cancellation period after your express request to begin early and your acknowledgement that the right to cancel will be lost on full completion, your cancellation right ends when the service is fully performed.
Where final files constitute digital content supplied immediately, we will obtain any consent and acknowledgement required before supplying them during the cancellation period.
Your statutory rights still apply if the design service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or does not match what was agreed.
12. Logo-customer mat discount
If the logo-design product includes a discount on a future mat order, the discount amount and any conditions will be stated in the listing or provided with the discount code.
Unless stated otherwise, the code is intended for the logo customer’s first eligible desk-mat order, may be used once, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be applied retrospectively. It may not be combined with another discount unless we expressly allow it.
13. Production and delivery
Production and delivery times shown on the website are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date in writing. For personalised products, production time normally begins only after we have received suitable artwork, all required information and any requested proof approval.
We use Royal Mail and may use another suitable carrier where necessary. Delivery charges and available services are shown at checkout.
We will deliver within the timeframe agreed with you and, unless otherwise agreed, no later than 30 days after the contract is formed. A delay caused by waiting for your artwork, information or approval extends the relevant timeframe accordingly.
Please ensure the delivery address is complete and accurate. If an order is returned because the supplied address was incorrect or delivery could not be completed, we may charge the reasonable cost of redelivery.
Responsibility for goods passes to a consumer when the goods are delivered to the consumer or a person identified by them to receive the goods.
14. Delivery problems and damage
Contact us promptly at cardbreakermats@gmail.com if an order is delayed, lost, arrives damaged or contains the wrong item.
Please retain the product and packaging. We may request photographs or other reasonable information so that we can assess the issue and raise a claim with the carrier. Providing photographs is helpful but does not remove any statutory right you may have.
15. Change-of-mind cancellations for non-personalised goods
If you are a consumer and buy a standard, non-personalised product online, you may normally cancel without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 days after the day you receive it.
After notifying us, you must return the product within a further 14 days. Unless the goods are faulty or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them. You should take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
We will refund the product price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We may deduct an amount for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop.
We will issue the refund within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or, if earlier, after you provide evidence that they have been sent back. Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
This change-of-mind right does not apply to personalised or custom-made products described in section 9.
16. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
All goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
If there is a problem, contact us with your order number and details of the issue. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may be a refund, repair, replacement, reprint or repeat performance of the service.
Nothing in these terms replaces or reduces the remedies available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law.
17. Returns process
Before returning an item, contact cardbreakermats@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide the appropriate return instructions.
Do not send returns to the registered office without first contacting us, as the appropriate returns address may be different.
We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage. You remain responsible for a change-of-mind return until it reaches us. This does not apply where we arrange collection or provide a prepaid returns service.
18. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions and discount codes are subject to any specific conditions shown when they are issued. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively or combined with another offer.
We may refuse or cancel a discount where it has been obtained, shared or used contrary to its stated conditions, subject always to applicable law.
19. Our responsibility to consumers
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed.
We supply consumer products for private use. If you use a consumer purchase for commercial, resale or business purposes, we are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event and contact you where it materially affects your order.
If a significant delay continues, you may have the right to end the contract and receive a refund for products or services not supplied.
21. Website availability and acceptable use
We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from errors.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, knowingly introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation or use it for unlawful activity.
22. Personal information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please read that policy for information about what we collect, why we use it and your rights.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to your order are those available when you place it, unless a change is required by law and applies to existing contracts.
24. If part of these terms is unenforceable
If a court or other competent authority finds part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
25. No waiver
If we delay enforcing a right under these terms, that does not mean we have given up that right.
26. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
Please contact us first if you have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it.
27. Model cancellation form
Use this form only if you are entitled to cancel a non-personalised goods order or a service under the cancellation provisions above. You may also send the same information by email without using this form.
